Danielle DeCastro is a New York based performer who takes pride in her musicianship and commitment to her craft. She has been a choir and band kid since elementary school, and owes her passion for theater to her first role as Briggita in “The Sound of Music”. She has studied in multiple areas of theater, voice and dance at Long Island University, performing in productions on the Post Theater Company stage as well as with Post Concert Dance Company. She has been described by directors as being a “rock” in the rehearsal process, and is always ready to collaborate. Outside of performing, Known by most as simply “Dani”, she enjoys walking alongside a great podcast, doing yoga, or reading outside. She is also a long time fan of  “Yacht Rock”, spending most of her summers fishing on the Massachusetts waters with her family.
